Tried to turn off low high but nothing works.

You can push the light button all you want but it doesn t go off or cycle through the hi low off setting either.

If these parts seem to be working properly test the control board with a multimeter to determine if it sending the correct voltage to the light bulb socket.

Greetings i replaced the bulb purchased from sears parts direct online for the nightlight underneath the microwave but now the light stays on all the time.
I took the bottom panel off and noted that the bulbs were glued in with silicon cement.
Here is my problem.
The weird thing is that now the light won t go off.
